WCC, an initiative of CashewInfo.com, was conceived to create a global platform for cashew industry to discuss critical issues concerning the RCN and Kernel markets.WCC's objective to involve all the stakeholders was successful. WCC 2016 offered a great networking platform, with over 420 delegates from 33 countries participating from over 245+ companies from private, government and non-government sectors. The convention also saw over 20 exhibitors and a host of sponsors and partners. WCC was well supported by various country partners such as the National Cashew Institute (INCAJU) Mozambique, National Cashew Association of Nigeria (NCAN), African Cashew Alliance (ACA), Cashewnut Board of Tanzania, AFI US, AEC-CI, KCMA and Nutpak.
WCC 2017: Theme and Highlights
WCC 2017: Given the significant changes witnessed across cashew value chain in recent times, the Technical Advisory Committee has rightly chosen the WCC 2017 theme as "Embracing Change".
Singapore is the regional financial hub and is an important centre for financing cashew value chain. Taking advantage of these, it has been decided to have a special focus session on "Financing the Cashew Value Chain".
WCC 2017 would also hold for the first time, a special session on"Women Entrepreneurs in Cashew Business" and would felicitate Women Entrepreneurs
